Real ID and Emergency Travel Assistance

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today that although REAL ID enforcement begins tomorrow, those who don’t have REAL ID will still be allowed to fly until further notice.

If you’re flying within the U.S. & do not have a REAL ID or other acceptable form of ID (like a passport) you may be subject to additional screening. Plan ahead, arrive early, and arrive prepared.

For individuals who are unable to obtain a Real ID and do not have a valid passport, even regular and urgent domestic travel could become a challenge. If you're in this situation, please reach out to our Constituent Services Department at kkramer@agudahil.org for assistance in navigating emergency travel scenarios.
